2005-02-14 Grady Grossman School Update: With a pile of donations and good wishes from the Friends of the Grady Grossman School, I traveled through 14 time zones, from Lander, Wyoming, to Chrauk Tiek Village, Cambodia. Contained in my two 70-pound duffle bags were the beginnings of a bi-lingual library: toys, puzzles, and books, lots and lots of books. Forty-five preschool-to-second grade English books had been donated and cash contributions purchased 23 Khmer books, all that I could find, in the capital city of Phnom Penh. ... more >>

2003-01-01 I just returned from Cambodia where I visited the Grady Grossman School for the first time since its construction was completed in September 2001. The cement building is well built in traditional Khmer style with 5 classrooms, two bathrooms and a clean water well.
